This was my reflection on the day I completed this piece:
What would it look like to listen for and “honor divine grace and the dignity of our life together”?
The invitation in this quote is to keep silent and resist the compulsion to speak.
Dignity is a word I don’t hear or use very often. “The dignity of our life together” feels so important in these days.
How might awareness of the truth of this phrase shift our way of being? Our way of engaging in our life with others? How does it change the way I listen?
