Paper Tile - God Is My Strength - Original Drawing
This 3” x 3” tile is created using markers on 140-lb. watercolor paper, signed and dated on the back. Fits in any 4” frame. Only one original of each tile in this collection.
Habakkuk 3:19 was the inspiration for this tile, and it reminds me where my strength comes from.I don’t have to manufacture strength. I get to trust that the One who loves me makes me strong and able to handle whatever comes.
These last months have been confusing, disorienting, exhausting, at times. They have also invited me, and so many of us, to reorient ourselves; to our daily rhythms and relationships, to work and leisure, to nature and health.
As I scrolled through the photos on my phone recently, I was struck by the color and beauty in my camera roll in these months. Flowers, art, outdoor scenes create a record of how these months have been filled with beauty. My phone-my primary camera-has recorded these things as signs of God’s goodness In the midst of pandemic time. Of making me tread upon the heights where the unknown can be scary, but where I continue to surrounded by goodness and beauty.
How are you experiencing God’s strength in these days?
$10 of the sale of each tile purchased will be donated to Habitat for Humanity, an organization that helps families build their own affordable homes. There’s only one original of each.
