Only in humility can I finally turn away from my ego needs to be right, to be justified in my way of seeing and experiencing life, to expect others to first own THEIR part in disagreements and disappointments. And when I am still enough, I hear my loving God calling me to let go of all of that.
Calling me to humility; to turn to the only life that matters-life in Christ. Life in the one who didn’t seek equality with God or demand his right to “be right”. He just went to the cross. Allowed himself to be nailed to a cross by those who wouldn’t have his kind of love; who were threatened by his kind of humble power.
